Grading system for sheet music
New
Like new: we have bought it with second-hand music but it is clearly unused
Very good: may have a previous owner's name, or the index annotated, but the music will either be totally unmarked, or the markings so few and light that they could be easily erased
Good: any markings on the music will be in pencil and relatively unobtrusive; cover may be worn
Acceptable: may have been repaired with magic tape and will definitely show signs of being played, but will still be perfectly usable
As will be clear from our grading system, we evaluate sheet music from a musican's viewpoint. Whilst we do have some music which may be of interest to collectors, we are not specialists in that field.
